Top cheetags Cheetahs Contents: Anatomy Lifespan Habitats & Tribes Culture Beliefs Naming Conventions Clothes Anatomy Lifespan Habiat Anatomy Cheetahs are digitigrade. They have short muzzles, pointy ears, and fluffy cheeks. Their pupils are round and their eyes are colored with no discernible sclera. They have sharp teeth and round, barbed tongues. They have hands with each three fingers and one opposable thumb with very good dexterity. Their paws have four toes each. Both hands and paws have paw pads for better protection and grip, with retractable claws, and they have long tails. Some cheetahs may have long fur, even though they have long ago been pushed out of colder areas. Male cheetahs tend to be taller and more muscular than female cheetahs, and have broader shoulders. Female cheetahs have permanent breasts after puberty, though cheetahs of either sex have 6 to 8 nipples from their chest to stomach. A cheetah's fur can be yellow, orange, red, grey, turquoise or sky blue, as well as any desaturated, bright or dark variant of these colors - though these colors are never excessively vibrant. Except in the case of melanistic or albino cheetahs, cheetahs have at least two colors, usually one main color and a lighter or darker color along their front and underside of their limbs. While some cheetahs do not have patterns, most cheetahs do, either spots or stripes, which will cover their back and top side of their limbs, as well as the top half of their face. A cheetah's main fur color may have up to three colors/shades blended into soft markings. Their patterns will be either one or two different colors. Their underside color will be a single color, to a max of six total colors. Patterns will not cover the underside color. Cheetahs only have one type of pattern, these are; solid (cheetah), stripes (tiger), ink (king cheetah), blotch (leopard), marble (jaguar), snow (snow leopard), cloud (clouded leopard), and plain (no pattern). Cheetahs without eye and 'tear' markings are called 'maskless'. Maskless cheetahs may still have patterns. A cheetahs irises can be any color except for white, black, or colors and shades too close to these. They may have heterochromia to add a second hue to their eyes. Their skin (lips, nose, paw pads) will be pink, red, or brown. It may be lighter or darker, including black, but not white. They may have two-toned skin, either marbled or soft gradients. Their claws will be white, black, soft pink, or bone-colored. They may have differently colored claws, up to two colors. Cheetahs may grow manes, or hair, from the back of their head and neck which drapes down their back or can rest over their collarbones. The hair does not grow from the top of their head or forehead and as such will not cover or hang in front of the ears or eyes. It starts from between the back of the ears and covers the back of the neck. The hair may be two-toned (striped, fade, etc.) and has the same colors as the rest of the fur. Cheetahs are non-magical... mostly. Extremely rarely, a cheetah will be born with magical abilities for unknown reasons. Due to the association of magic and dragons, these cheetahs may be ostracized. ⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻ Lifespan Cheetahs are born in litters ranging from 1 to 8 kittens, with a usual average of 4, though first time mothers may only have 1 or 2. Usually about 1 in 4 make it to adulthood due to illnesses or more pressingly, dangerous wildlife. Newborn cheetahs are very small and are vulnerable for a few years. Nursing mothers will often nurse another mother's kittens while she is resting or working. Children start helping out in the tribe as early as 5 years old. Into their teenage years they start learning harder tasks like hunting and fighting. At around their 18th year they are considered adults, which is marked by ceremony. Unlike dragons, cheetahs usually reach their full height in the 18-25 age range. Cheetahs start getting elderly at 60, and usually don't live longer than 80, though a few have lived as long as 110. ⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻ Habitat & Tribes As of 3016, cheetahs live exclusively in the Quiet Tropics to the far west of Warfang mainland. Historically they have lived primarily in Avalar Valley and Twilight Falls, though these territories they have lost to dragons. Where there were once dozens of tribes, there are now only 7 still standing. This is a result of millennia of being relocated and pushed back by dragons, and the failed retaliations due to these. When cheetahs went to war with dragons in 2974, they lost several more border tribes. The current tribes, in order of size, are Cold Sword, Ebon Sand, Frozen Star, Silver Eye, Arcane Claw, Stone Stag, and Falling Arrow . The average member count is ~3000, far higher than their tribes usually have been, due to tribes being destroyed and their surviving members being accepted into other tribes. There are about another ~8,000 tribeless cheetahs living outside of tribe territories as small family units, wanderers, exiles, and raiders. Though the surviving tribes historically have had feuds, these conflicts have been put aside to address the larger threat; dragons. The tribes organize their warriors into a joint army to fight where they're needed most... but even then, swords, spears, bows and arrows stand little chance against the dragons and their flight and destructive magic. Due to the war, virtually no cheetahs live outside of the Quiet Tropics on Warfang mainland. They are persecuted by civilian dragons and the military alike, and often captured or killed. Likewise, a dragon on cheetah lands will be attacked on sight, whether or not their intentions are hostile. A non-insignificant number of cheetahs have sailed to the Shattered Vale, as this has in the past been done to do trade with the apes. The two species still maintain a positive relationship, and apes mostly welcome the refugees. ⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻ Culture Cheetahs are hunter-gatherers first and foremost, but do a small amount of farming and animal husbandry. Although the Quiet Tropics is not ideal for farming, the hunter-gatherer lifestyle is culturally and spiritually significant for cheetahs. There are many roles inside a cheetah tribe. There are hunters, foragers/gatherers, healers, warriors, chiefs, crafters, and caretakers . These roles are not gender exclusive, but different tribes tend to have certain genders overrepresented in certain roles, such as Cold Sword having more male warriors but more female hunters, and Ebon Sand having more female warriors but more male healers. Universally however, caretakers are overwhelmingly female, as they must be able to nurse the kittens of mothers who are in roles requiring them to leave the tribe for extended periods of time. Beliefs Cheetahs believe in ancestral spirits much like dragons, but also in the spirits of nature. Any given species has a collective spirit, and there are spirits of the skies, the rivers, the mountains. Cheetahs do not view these spirits as being godly and moving with intent, but rather as essential aspects of nature that must be respected and preserved as they are. Different tribes tend to dedicate themselves specifically to certain spirits, often the ones they live with, such as a river tribe revering the river spirit. Cheetahs believe that when they die, their spirits will become a part of the spirit they dedicated themselves to the most in terms of prayer, rituals of song and dance, and offerings (crafts). Some tribes see dedication to the spirits as required (Silver Eye, Arcane Claw), while others are generally more lax. Most cheetahs believe in the spirits but not all do more than acknowledge them. Naming Conventions Cheetahs are named after aspects of nature or their species; Meadow, Fern, Oak, River, Rain, Sky, Blossom, Moss, Bone, Stalker, Hunter, Prowler. Some names are slightly altered words; Prowlus, Rivera, Winterin, Staris (words with suffixes of -us, -a, -in, -is). These are usually given with words in the current dialect ('english') but may use old dialect ('non-english'). Certain names are not given, such as Warrior, Killer, Animal, Spirit, Ghost, etc. Clothes Cheetahs wear clothes made of fabric, pelts, and leather. They do not have pants or sleeves but clothing akin to sleeveless tunics tied around the waist with leather belts. The bottom part of the tunic is cut into four 'flaps', one in front, one in the back, and one on each side. Some cheetahs may wear capes, and/or bracers on legs and/or arms (this is most common with warriors and hunters) - alternatively wraps of fabric or leather. These may also be put on the tail along with decoration. They incorporate beads, rope, and metalwork into their clothes, and will often etch patterns into leather. Due to the open bottom of their tunics, cheetahs may wear loincloths underneath. Cheetahs also use beads and rope in their hair. Male cheetahs may go with only the bottom part of their tunic, bare chested, while female cheetahs will at least have a piece covering their chest. When breastfeeding they will have the whole front torso covered. Covering these areas of the body is not motivated by shame or taboo but rather the belief that revealing the natural, mature body is a gesture exclusive to lovers or for courtship, and doing so carries the same implications even if both cheetahs are male or both female. Culture Beliefs Naming Clothes Disclaimer; Cheetah culture is not inspired by or based by any real, current or historical cultures/tribes. Any similarities are unintentional and may be altered if deemed offensive. ▲

- Flora and Fauna | Destiny Intertwined
flora and fauna Flora and Fauna the Storm Raptor The Storm Raptor (or Storm Reaper , as they are unofficially called) is a large carnivorous avian. Like the Titan Basilisk, they make dragons a part of their diet. Storm Raptors have no elemental abilities, but are unmatched fliers. Storm Raptors are either inclined towards Electricity or Wind. The Wind Storm Raptors are the fastest , and can catch any dragon. Electric Storm Raptors can catch any dragon, with the exception of strong Wind dragons. That is to say, if a Storm Raptor makes a dragon its prey, it will catch that dragon—if in the air. In flight, dragon’s chances are low—they must hope to make it to the ground to fight , or flee into a small cave or dense woods. Storm Raptors make their homes in mountains and towering stone spires, and they thrive in storms and winds; their edge over competing airborne predators. They can be found in all known lands, and while they may travel to colder areas to hunt, they will not live there. Standard Storm Raptors find Agni Flats too hot, but a slower, fire-aligned cousin has come forth to claim that area for itself; the Volcanic Raptor. A wind Storm Raptor and Volcanic Raptor. Storm Raptors have a number of means to kill their prey. Most notable are their jaws, packed with permanently exposed, bone-crushing, large teeth. Their talons (two in front, two in the back on each leg) can cut through dragon scales with ease. They also have spurs from their wings that they will use to stab, and a similar spur from their tail—though their tails lack the strength to drive this spur deep, unlike their wing spurs. Mature male Storm Raptors also have a long spur from their beak that they use to impale prey, or fight other male Storm Raptors. This is called the sword. The longer the sword, the older the male. Older males are also much larger, stronger, and faster. Middle aged male with a sword beak compared to a female/young male, and the latter with an open maw. Mature males will form harems of female Storm Raptors , as many as he can attract. Adolescents all leave—females to find other alpha males, and males to compete with each other. Young male Storm Raptors will not stand a chance at competing with elder males. They either die trying, or they lay low, blending in with an alpha male’s harem and trying to court his females. Sometimes they are successful. As young males are most often solitary, they are more likely to die hunting, being hunted, fighting other males, or at the wrath of alpha males. If they make it to older age however, they begin to grow a sword, and will soon be able to compete with alpha males to conquer a harem and/or draw young females to him. Storm Raptors hunt in groups. Females of a harem may leave in small groups to hunt, groups consisting of three to six, depending on the size of the harem. But most often, the alpha male starts a hunt, and most of the females will follow him—sans enough females to protect everyone’s nests and chicks. The size of an alpha Storm Raptor’s harem is virtually limitless . Storm Raptors have historically hunted in large enough groups to destroy villages and even towns of dragons , and in general Storm Raptors are a threat to any traveler. Storm Raptors are intelligent enough to avoid large settlements, and to assess when they have the advantage in numbers. Much like with Titan Basilisks, another formidable dragon predator, dragons have made efforts to drive them to extinction. Dragons will track nests and attack them at their most vulnerable to kill chicks and smash eggs, as well as attack lone young males and adolescents. But Storm Raptors are hard to kill off , as once they are adult and settled, they are never alone , and they live up high where they have the advantage. Still, their numbers have dwindled over the years, as professionally hunting them is a path to glory for dragons. Not only does it lead to a status of protecting dragonkind, but the carcasses of Storm Raptors are sought after. While their meat is rarely liked, their beaks, spurs, bones and bone marrow are used by healers , and their feathers may be used for impressive quills, if treated. However, their skin and feathers are rough and smell quite badly, so they are not used for other means such as attire or decoration. Every so often, a population of Storm Raptors grows out of control due to an undefeatable alpha male. When dragons manage to kill an alpha, his females will flock to another alpha, making this flock a much bigger threat. Though attempts are made to kill the females before they find another harem, many will get away and make another male stronger. In recent years, this has occurred—as recently as year 3010 . An old, powerful male (dubbed ‘Karnaq’ ) found himself reigning over around a hundred females on Warfang mainland, along with countless chicks and eggs. To feed this many, he would lead his flock to attack town after town. Houses would be destroyed, farm animals killed, children eaten. Due to the size of not only his flock, but his own size and power, Raptor Hunters were helpless to stop him; he had already killed too many of them. As mutterings of the Guard needing to step in began, the most prominent Raptor hunters that remained made a choice; to ask an Elemental for help. Requesting the help of the Stormbringer heir caused a flurry of debates. The Stormbringer elders, and Army leadership, saw this as too big of a risk to their sole Elemental; who might not just be irreparably injured, but quite possibly killed challenging an animal . Some voices insisted the Guard step in first, others believed the Stormbringer duty to protect the nation not only meant standing in the way of enemy nations, but anyone and anything threatening their civilians. Debates had not concluded before Commander Lynerius left on his own accord with the Raptor hunters. With the little time they had, they imparted their knowledge and tactics to him and recruited as many volunteers as possible to aid, and intercepted Karnaq and his hunting party on their way to the next town . While the hunters and volunteers attacked the females, Lynerius faced the beastly elder alpha; a monster that proved capable of withstanding an Elemental’s attacks for an hour before he finally fell from the sky. Lynerius, despite numerous injuries and several close calls, then assisted in eliminating the remaining Storm Raptors—most who were now fleeing—and destroying the nest. Though many volunteers and career hunters perished, the assault was a success and the mainland returned to a safer state. Today, the skull of Karnaq is on display in the Stormbringer estate , and Commander Lynerius has expressed interest in hunting dragon predators again. - Skyblaze
A dragon clan within the universe of Destiny Intertwined. Skyblaze is a mixed fire/wind clan of healers and attendants. They are based in Warfang City, and are renowned for their healing capabilities and care. History ⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻ In 2899 Master Healer Sierrus, upon being awarded the title of Master of Healing, was also given the honor of founding a clan due to his family's very favorable reputation as excellent healers. His clan has since been a go-to for injured and ill clan/high-society dragons. Clan Trait ⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻ Skyblaze is recognized by their pastel sky-colored scales and complimentary, warm markings. This is present on both its fire members, and its wind members. The fire dragons of Skyblaze always have their markings representing their element's color, with their clan trait being merely their unique quality. For their wind members, their main scale color is their element's color, with their warm markings sometimes presenting in Saturated wind. Skyblaze dragons also have smooth, upwards curved horns and frills/spikes. Elements ⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻ Skyblaze has 31 fire dragons and 13 wind dragons, as their lineage is biased towards fire. Their fire variants are Orange and Yellow, and their wind variants are Grey, and some Saturated. Trade ⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻ Skyblaze specializes in healing. Most of its members will have a decent grasp of the magic, even if this isn't their main trade. About half of Skyblaze are career healers, while the other half are attendants - working as assistants to the Council, Guardians, Temple Masters, Judges, and Ministers. On the small odds of wind breaking into its roots, electricity and earth, Skyblaze generally tries to push these on the other party if they can. If the other party refuses to take them, Skyblaze will reluctantly keep these children but not recognize them as clan members. They will be raised more akin to clan servants. - FAQ | Destiny Intertwined
frequently asked questions Frequently Asked Questions What programs do you use? What is your writing process? What brushes do you use? How do you make your backgrounds? Why do you use 3D? Can I translate your comic? Can I make a character? What else can I make? Can I have a cameo? Is this Legend of Spyro? I think someone stole your lore/character/art? What programs do you use? For everything writing, I currently use Google Docs , but have used Scrivener previously; the former now has all the features of Scrivener that I used, with the added bonus of not needing to sync via Dropbox. For 3D (background and character head models) I use Blender. For everything 2D I use the latest version of Clip Studio Paint , though I switched relatively recently (as of comic page 219) from Photoshop. What is the writing process for Destiny Intertwined? Since the beginning I've known where the story is leading, and what major plot points occur along the way, including character development and deaths. However as DI is a long-term project, I leave a lot of room for details and development to be new to me as well, so the excitement stays fresh for me also . While I'll know the context of the next few chapters ahead of time, I write them as the current chapter progresses. While this does lead to some poor planning (such as the very long chapter 2), I prefer to prioritize my own enjoyment over perfection. This way, I'll never get bored :) What brushes do you use? For painting I use a modified version of this Hoarse Oil brush. For lineart I use a modified, noisy pencil brush (not sure what the original was); though for some bases/artworks I use a brush similar to the default Rough Pen. A key attribute of the brushes I use is that my pen pressure caps at a minimum of 50%, which means I don't get very thin tips to my strokes. Before my swap from Photoshop, I used many of Kyle Webster's brushes, some of which I have adapted for Clip Studio. How do you make your backgrounds? My inorganic (non-nature) backgrounds are 3D made. I design and build all structures in 3D from the ground up, including textures and material design. I will then render these for comic panels and paint over them, as well as add other effects to try and blend them with the 2D art. Usually I will blur the 3D model render first to remove fine detail. Why do you use 3D? I have a strong dislike for drawing geometric/straight edged objects by hand, particularly ones that need perspective. This is also extremely time consuming, which isn't ideal for comic work. On the flip side, I really enjoy 3D modeling. Ultimately, all the work in the comic is still entirely my own, just not all made with the same medium. I also use character head models for fully consistent horns and proportions. Expressions are hand drawn. I have full-body poseable models available, but only use them for very challenging perspectives if I struggle. Using 3D assets for comics is very common! It saves a lot of time, which is crucial for comics which need to update frequently enough. Can I translate your comic into [language]? I'm not looking to get the comic translated at the moment, but thank you! Can I make a character for Destiny Intertwined? Of course, please check out the Character Guide page for guidelines on how to integrate your character into the setting canon! There are a number of rules that must be followed if you want your character considered (soft) canon, such as obvious no-godmodding rules. Do note that this does not guarantee a cameo in the comic, much less a role. What else can I make? Please limit creations to what's established within lore. For example, blacksmiths and dragon armor are both established canon, so you can make a character who is a blacksmith making armor for soldiers. But you cannot make, say, a clockmaker, for clocks have not been established to exist in the setting. Clan submissions have concluded, and new Clans will only come from elevated Dragon Families, which you can make without submissions (for High Families (the step before becoming a Clan), you can only make a total of 3). Other than characters and families, I ask that you do not invent anything else for DI. That includes animals, plants, spells, elemental techniques, diseases/afflictions, locations, schools, metals/minerals, medicines, curses, etc. While most of these are things I would enjoy seeing people make, I do not have the time to give approval and feedback to all things the community might want to make - I'd not have time for anything else if I tried. You can skirt around some of these limits by not naming or detailing the object/place, for example, you can say your herbalist sells a herb that eases nausea, this is fine - just avoid groundbreaking objects like, for example, a magical metal that is somehow both light and super durable. Can my character cameo in your comic? If your character is not created/adapted for DI, no. When able, I choose cameos from supporters who have made characters for DI with eligible designs and integrated information (see Characters page.) I usually also choose based on what makes sense - if I have a scene that takes place in the Temple Sch ool, I'll pick characters who are students in the age group I want/need, so it's not enough to have only a design, there needs to be a character that exists in the world for me to use. Is this project related to The Legend of Spyro? Destiny Intertwined was inspired by and is in a way dedicated to the game series, The Legend of Spyro, though it quickly evolved into a whole world of its own. You may recognize a handful of concepts (and visuals) from the games, which have been fleshed out and heavily expanded on in Destiny Intertwined's own lore, as well as much more worldbuilding entirely unique to Destiny Intertwined. All Destiny Intertwined characters and designs are fully original (in that they have no origin in the TLoS games) , with the partial exception of Malefor , who is based on the TLoS character of the same name. Like the setting itself, Destiny Intertwined builds on the very limited information given about this character's origins. His character, and the vast majority of his coming story in the comic, is entirely original to Destiny Intertwined . His design has been recreated to be distinct. At this point, I consider Destiny Intertwined almost entirely its own creation, with guest elements from the games it is a love letter to - if only due to the sheer amount of design, worldbuilding, and character creation I've done on top. Over time, I may phase out the game elements if only for legal security (including renaming Malefor), but I want to maintain the concept of Destiny Intertwined's story being compatible with TLoS' untold past. Destiny Intertwined is so independent from TLoS that no knowledge about the game series is needed to enjoy the comic. It can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless if they've played the TLoS games or not! Is X project related to DI? / Someone stole your lore/character(s)? DI has generated some offshoots, wherein individuals have taken their DI community (fan) characters and placed them in a new setting they themselves manage. Designs may still retain strong DI resemblance. Character references may look much akin to DI's, and DI original lore (no basis in The Legend of Spyro) and design (such as clan banners) may have been brought over. People's characters and their designs are their own, even if they are based on my design style and concepts . I have no issues concerning DI community (fan) characters being added or moved to original or different settings*. I do not mind my character reference style being replicated, though I encourage a different approach if only to avoid confusion/characters being mistaken for DI characters, which can be upsetting to those trying to make something of their own. *(unless something else was agreed, some designs I've sold have been sold with terms that prevent this until DI concludes) If my own lore and world designs are used or heavily borrowed from, such as the dragon Clan system and their banner style, my Elemental/Magic systems, Warfang Army/Guard system, etc., I would be very happy to receive fair credit for my work! Otherwise, I do suggest a more extensive rewrite to eliminate overt DI aspects. I don't mind DI being used as a starting point to something more original if I am fairly credited (until said DI aspects are changed at least) . Kindly, please do not replicate my characters, particularly their designs ; especially that of Stormbringer and Scions Aether characters (such as Lynerius and Undacus). I do find this distressing as my characters, and by extension their likeness, are dear to me. T here are countless ways to design storm-grey and white dragons without arriving at a design resembling that of these clans. Their designs are built of many other design elements (which are baked into DI's design logic and rules, but non-DI designs should not be bound by these) besides their base color, including my own art style, that can be done very differently if you would like to make greyscale and white dragons too! These are just my wishes, in the hopes that they will be respected. I've worked very hard for my designs and worldbuilding, and it does hurt to see some individuals take credit for my work (whether by withholding or denying its origin) , but I take no action against anyone. I prefer to actively avoid this content rather than engage in conflicts. If you discover any of this being done , you do not need to notify me . Please do not confront anyone doing this , and definitely, absolutely do not harass anyone doing it . If you are upset on my behalf, please avoid engaging with the content in question. Otherwise I may be pressed to get involved and I do not want that. I am also not pressed to take action against anyone tracing my art (I don't really mind, but please do give credit!) or seemingly just using it without permission. I do not mind my art being used for icons and such.

Top Warfang City Warfang City Warfang City was the first official settlement of the nation of Warfang, founded in the year 0 in the wake of the Unification. It has since been the heart of Warfang, the center of its politics and trade. The Elder Guardians and the five most powerful dragon Clans reside here. Ancestor Temple The Ancestor Temple was the first building to be constructed in the City. It was to be the home of the first Guardians, and would protect the new Warfang nation's eggs. Today it is the home of the Elder Guardians, who keep not only the knowledge of the secrets of elemental mastery but all of the nation's secrets, knowledge, and intelligence. It also houses the Grand Master of Magic, and the Grand Master of Healing; the most powerful and knowledgeable Dragon Masters in their field. There are other, non-magical Grand Masters of their fields who are called upon by the Council when their knowledge and advice is needed, and many of them make their home in the Ancestor Temple. The Ancestor Temple employs hundreds of servants and is protected by hundreds of Templars at any given time. In recent times, this has also been the home of the purple dragon, Malefor . Inside the Ancestor Temple are several areas of note; The Summit, in which the Council convenes. In the Summit is also the Pool of Visions, where the Elder Guardians may seek knowledge or information in the form of visions, dreams, or glimpses of places far away. Rarely, even glimpses of the future. The Great Hall, the lower part of which is a massive dojo, where the Elder Guardians train themselves and their successors. The upper part contains the floating staircase to the Summit, giant, levitating light crystals, and a vast library used by the Elder Guardians, the Dragon Masters, and various visitors. The contents of this library is public and contains no classified material. The Grottoes, which once housed the nation's eggs. Today they are kept empty, set aside in case the younger Warfang City Temple is compromised, or reserved as a shelter in case of an attack or natural disaster. The Tunnels, not a publicly known part of the Ancestor Temple; these tunnels located near the Grottoes can be used as an escape route into or out of the City. There are exits into every district and far outside the city. The tunnels are a maze, and one can get lost if they don't know the way. The exits are concealed, but if a member of the public stumbles upon them, the exit will be moved. The exit doors will only open for the Elder Guardians and a handful of others, including the Council. The entrances to the tunnels will open for the above as well as the Temple's Dragon Masters, a handful of select Templars, and the purple dragon. Only the ones the doors will open for know about the tunnels for safety reasons. The Master Study , which can only be accessed by the Elder Guardians, the Council members, and the Grand Masters. This library contains all secret knowledge Warfang possesses; erased histories, forbidden knowledge, and confidential intelligence on enemy nations. Crescent Hall The Crescent Hall is a place for catering and entertainment. It is owned by the City and is used when the City/Council hosts events and celebrations. It cannot be used for events hosted privately by clans, for example. It is the closest building to the Ancestor Temple. Warfang City Temple The Warfang City Temple was built to house the new Guardians of the Warfang Mainland, as the Elder Guardians became focused on ruling the nation. Still to this day, the Warfang City Temple houses all the eggs of the mainland citizens, protected by the Warfang mainland Guardians, and over a hundred Templars at any given point. It is extremely secure, and has had no incidents of eggs killed by intruders for hundreds of years. Since initially being built, it has been expanded significantly into the Warfang Temple School, where thousands of students attend every year for an expensive education. Areas of note; Main Hall, this is the massive main building in center. At the top floor of this dome is a large dojo, used by the Guardians and at times, students. Lower floors house a massive library for use by students and the Guardians, as well as Dragon Masters and any others with previously approved access. The courtyard , the outside area where students may reside during free period. It is not permitted for non-students to linger here, and an hour after school hours, only staff and servants are permitted to be on school grounds. The grottoes and tunnels; much like the Ancestor Temple, the Warfang City Temple has grottoes and underground evacuation tunnels. The grottoes are deep within the Temple structure and reach underground. The evacuation tunnels can only be opened by a Guardian. The tunnels connect with and use the same exits as the Ancestor Temple. The orphanage , a Temple run home for orphaned children. The Temple orphanage is on temple grounds, but is not in the main building, rather behind it. The orphans there do not attend the school, but often do cleaning after-hours. Some of the many towers around the Main Hall are the studies of various Dragon Masters employed by the Temple who study and teach flights. Other towers contain many flightrooms each. Warfang City Hall A majority of Warfang City Hall is the center for Warfang's Justice and Law system. Here are offices for Warfang's Judges, Ministers, and Justices e mployed by the City (not private Justices), and courtrooms for sentencing criminals and settling disputes. The other part of City Hall is for relations between the government and the public; whenever the Council needs to address the public, they have a large, indoor symposium for invite-only conferences; usually for Clan leaders/ambassadors. For rarer occasions, they also have an outdoor pedestal where a speaker can address a large crowd, which would consist of any citizen choosing to attend. The Warfang City Hall is locat ed in District 7. The Amphitheatre The Amphitheatre is located near Warfang City Hall in District 7 , and is owned by the City. It is used for official tournaments, gladiatorial games, performances, and most notably, the Seer's Trials . The Amphitheatre may be rented for private events at a very significant fee, and all activities must be legal. Even very wealthy clans who want to use the Amphitheatre must collaborate with multiple other clans and entities to afford reserving the Amphitheatre, so this happens very rarely and for very special events. Army Fort Army Headquarters The Army Fort is the headquarters to the Warfang Army. It is the office for the General of the Army, and has offices for his 20 subordinate Generals in the top floor of the main building. Between their offices is a meeting room where they convene frequently. The remainder of the main building is used for logistics (243rd Regiment), such as storing confidential information like details about individual soldiers and managing payments. It is also the home for the 246th Regiment, Army Intelligence , but it is unknown if there are any offices there at all due to the secrecy surrounding this Regiment. Divisions 1 to 5 has a section set off for Regiment offices outside the main building, where Commanders and their Regiment Lieutenants manage the logistics of their individual Regiments. Divisions 6, 7, 8, 9 and 20 have their own headquarters and offices in a Fort near Stormfall, Warfang Mainland. Divisions 10 to 14 have their headquarters in Titan Fields, Dragonfly Falls, and Divisions 15 to 19 in Concurrent Skies, Stormy Beach. Each fort has a well protected portal deep in their main buildings to allow Generals to travel to and from the Army Fort, which in emergencies can be used to transport other individuals or items. Recruits are trained by Division 20 near Stormfall, where the wide surrounding terrain can be used to effectively train soldiers for their unique roles. The Army Fort has a dungeon for temporary holding of unruly or criminal soldiers. The Army Fort is located in District 3. Guard Keep Guard Headquarters Like the Army, the Guard headq uarters make their home in Warfang City. It is the office of the Chief of the Guard and is used to manage and communicate with Guard headquarters in Titan F ields, Concurrent Skies, and Agni Flats, as well as all Guard stations in other Warfang Mainland cities and towns. Each District in Warfang City has its own Guard station with a dungeon for temporary holding of criminals. The Guard Keep does not have it's own dungeon. Commanders and Captains have their offices in their Districts. New Guards are trained on the job. Training drills will occur frequently in the Keep or around the city. Districts Warfang City is divided into districts, which are separated by extremely tall walls and joined by gates. The Guard patrols these walls and it is forbidden to fly over them. To enter the city or enter a different district, you must pass through an open gate. Gates are manned by the Guard, and they will stop suspicious individuals from passing through. The gates are closed at night, and flying over the walls at these hours yields a much harsher sentence than during daytime. Each district is joined to the next by one or two gates, and the outer districts have one or two gates out of the city. Districts 1 to 7 and 11 to 14 are also connected by bridges over the river. Distr ict 1 D istrict 1 is the center of the City, housing the Ancestor Temple, Crescent Hall, Warfang City Temple, and the five leading clan estates. The rest of the District is comprised of expensive, top quality markets, and the headquarters of the nations top institutions and individuals for everything ranging from trade, tutoring, study, and services. There are several other clan and family estates in District 1, all among the wealthiest and most influential in the nation. District 2 - 4 Districts 2, 3, and 4 are similar to District 1; they house countless clan and family estates and businesses, with vast high quality markets and services. There are also smaller housing towers for more regular workers, though these are located in the midst of the district around the markets, taverns, inns, etc., while the rich estates have more vast areas of nature between them, and the peace and quiet that comes with that. District 5 - 10 In Districts 5 to 10, there are gradually less clan and family estates, until there are only middle to low class homes. Like other districts, there are markets for both necessities and luxuries. These districts are where the top blacksmiths, clothiers, potterers, etc. have their production shops. Crime is not uncommon here, commonly petty theft, but they have their fair share of organized and violent crime. District 11 - 15 Di stricts 11 to 15 are the poorer districts. Menial laborers make their homes here. The markets are in declining quality to stay cheap and are subject to frequent theft. Homelessness and orphans are rampant here, and as is crime. Murder cases are a near daily event, and usually go unsolved by the Guard. In truth, the Guard has little control over these districts; organized crime is prevalent, and many businesses and families pay crime lords for protection instead. The Underground City Around the year 2000, Warfang City was expanded into the underground. Originally, this was where the mole population lived, but it is now shared with dragons. The Underground City can be accessed through Districts 6, 7, 8, 14, and 15, as it resides beneath these districts and are considered a part of them. The purpose of the Underground City was to expand housing options to keep most of the above-ground Warfang City high class and peaceful, and this partially succeeded. The Underground City is to date a pit of crime and poverty, all but ruled by several crime syndicates, most notably The Virens Inferna , which maintains fragile control of the other syndicates, for now. The lawlessness of the Underground City benefits the degenerates of the low class and the high class alike. Despite its circumstances, there are places in the Underground City gleaming with riches due to the wealth immoral trade and entertainment brings. Clans and others of high society frequent the Underground City to satisfy desires beyond the law. The moles still reside in what is the Underground City, but after dragons moved in, they've dug their own, separate residence for their own safety. They have their own exits which lead to District 6. Another walled off part of the Underground City is uninhabited; a large chasm used primarily for secretive training by the Guardians, Army, and Guard. This is not known to the public. ▲

- Stormbringer
A dragon clan within the universe of Destiny Intertwined. One of the main five clans, the Stormbringer family is the leading electric clan in Warfang, known for their overwhelming numbers of accomplished soldiers. As one of the leading clans, Stormbringer has a seat on the Warfang Council and represents electric dragons. Most of the clans allied to them are electric clans. History ⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺ Before achieving clan status, Stormbringers were a family of soldiers known for their storm-colored scales. They were powerful, accomplished soldiers. The founder, Lynaricus, became the most notable in the family for their high elemental mastery, and for achieving the rank of General, which resulted in their family achieving clan status in 2512 - although the family records date back to the 2000's. The clan took on the name given to its members on the battlefield, 'storm bringers'. Stormbringer has since been a renowned clan of soldiers, with only the odd black sheep choosing different professions. Nevertheless, every Stormbringer serves in the army at some point, often at the unspoken threat of being exiled from the clan. Most Stormbringers remain in the army for the rest of their lives, often attaining the rank of Commander, or even General. As such, the clan became known as the army clan, and for such a significant influence in the army, and for their numbers and wealth, Stormbringer replaced the current leading electric clan in 2689. Clan Trait ⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺ The identifiable trait of a Stormbringer is the 'storm scale', storm-colored scales. A Stormbringers scales features a mix of greys, blacks, and light greys, a trait virtually unheard of among other electric dragons. They sport frills and rough horns, their element colors displayed in elemental markings and membranes. Information Name Allegiance Colors Banner Element Trade Location Leader Heir Founder Founding Year Living Members Stormbringer Warfang Black, silver, pale gold Symmetrical lightning bolts displaying clan colors Electricity Army Warfang City General Tordner Commander Lynerius General Lynaricus (deceased) Year 2512 311 Appears in Destiny Intertwined (Chapter 1+) Red Gala Counting the Dead Out of Universe DragonOfIceAndFire No/Invitation only Owned by Open for Characters? Elements ⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺ Stormbringer is a clan of exclusively electric dragons, but has a known single fire-dragon 'impurity' in the heir lineage - this being the result of a union's falsified family history. This dragon unified with the Matriarch at the time, and the impurity was not discovered until her grandchildren developed pale electricity. Despite this, the line of heirs continued, and the risk of fire eggs among clutches has been bred out, though the pale electricity remains strong. Stormbringers can have any variant of electricity, but lacks earth impurity to produce green electricity. Despite the ability to introduce 'purified' green electricity, the clan has elected to avoid it. Trade ⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺ Stormbringers are almost exclusively soldiers, with few choosing other professions. The culture within the clan strongly discourages other trades, but readily makes exceptions for Guardians and Templars. Very few Stormbringers have accepted an invitation into the Guard, and those that did did not find their Clan's approval. Reproduction and Eggs ⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺ Stormbringer commonly engages in reproduction contracts, choosing partners from other accomplished military clans/families with strong electric abilities. Depending on the current leader, some romantic unions may be refused if the non-Stormbringer does not meet the above criteria. From reproduction contracts, Stormbringer takes all eggs bearing the storm scale trait. Most other eggs are yielded to the other clan, if any. Notable Members ⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺ General Lyneris (former Matriarch, deceased) Lieutenant Styrmeer (unified of Lyneris, father of Tordner, deceased) Commander Galvan (unified of Lyneris, father of Tormer, deceased) General Tordner (son of Styrmeer) Lady Levina (former unified of Tordner) General Tormer (son of Galvan) Commander Raida (unified of Tormer) Viharo (younger brother of Tormer, deceased) Viga (younger brother of Tormer, deceased) Belys (younger sister of Tormer, deceased) Commander Lynerius (eldest son of Tordner) Lady Auralis (unified of Lynerius) Guardian Tordena (daughter of Tordner) Soldier Styrmer (son of Tordner, deceased) Commander Saarus (son of Tordner) Commander Lynis (daughter of Tordner) Student Thundorn (son of Tordner) Student Arateri (daughter of Tordner) Commander Galvaris (daughter of Tormer and Raida) Electis (unified of Galvaris) Lieutenant Tormeris (daughter of Tormer and Raida) Soldier Indra (daughter of Lynis) Student Sorine (daughter of Lynis) Student Zaerus (son of Saarus) Student Zilan (son of Galvaris) And other extended family Leader/Heir Immediate Family Tree ⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺⸺ Page written by DragonOfIceAndFire
